Winner Chosen For “iWant, iNeed, iPad Giveaway”!

Well, its been a long time coming but we have finally gotten around to posting the winner of our first iPad Giveaway! Big congratulations to Olivia Carter and her Sister Courtney for entering Olivia in the Contest. You can check out the aftermath here!

iPad.. A gadget as potentially transformative as it has been polarizing. We here at myPhoneMD can tell you after 5 days of ownership that what we have on our hands is a veritable game changer. We we watched the news coverage on the iPad’s launch day one thing became glaringly apparent—Many people wanted to get their hands on one, but most couldn’t give a solid answer as to why they wanted it.

As we mentioned at Net2NO on Tuesday April 6th, we are going to be giving away a brand spanking new Apple iPad and the competition starts right now.

Here is the skinny, rather than a lazy excercise of following on twitter and fanning on facebook getting you into this sexy beast of a mobile device, we at myPhoneMD want to know WHY you want and need an iPad in your life. We will then select the most compelling argument and badda bing: iPad loving.

Here’s how you get involved:

1. Head on over to our facebook fan page via this link.  It will bring you to a nice crispy picture of your prospective new iPad.   Go ahead and tag yourself on the picture of your new iPad.  (You have to be a fan of myPhoneMD in order to tag the pic, so if tagging yourself isn’t an option you besta fan up!
2. After you tag yourself in the pic, leave a comment on the iPad pic telling us all about how you absolutely have to have this iPad and  why we need to give it to you.  Hint: “just cause” isn’t a satisfactory answer :)
3. Copy your freshly posted comment and paste your comment along with myPhoneMD into your status for the world to see. Ex: “myPhoneMD should give me the free iPad because <paste comment> myPhoneMD FTW!!!” Or something along those lines.  We aren’t sticklers.

We see a ton of quality reasons to own and use an iPad in your daily life and work despite the fact that no one interviewed by any network on launch day had a reasonable answer to the question of “Why the iPad”  We will select the poster of the  most compelling argument for iPad ownership next Friday the  16th of April.
